Gratitude is key to a happy and successful life! Do you believe this?
I know that shit happens. I can’t begin to tell you about all the crappy stuff that is happening in some of my friend’s and families lives right now. But even most of these things don’t compare to what some people are going through in different parts of the world.
But the truth is, everyone reading this woke up today, is still breathing, has a computer, and has a chance to make the most of this day.
Today, I was feeling quite low. It was late afternoon and, so far, I had zero visits to my blog post. I wondered what I was doing this for? I quit for the day and started getting my dog her dinner.
Not long after, my iPad beeped, which usually means I have a Twitter message. I found that the inimitable Danielle LaPorte (White Hot Truth) had given me a tweet out, saying that my review of her Firestarter sessions was “delish – the best evah!” Half an hour later, I already had 44 visits to my page. The thing is, I wrote this review several months ago and was just now getting this feedback.
The point is, you never know if or when what you do or write will make a difference. What really matters is that you’re doing what you love and what you feel is right, no matter what happens. And that you’re grateful for the opportunity.
Thank you, Danielle! My review was from the heart because your amazing Firestarter Sessions really touched me and made a difference in my life.
Gratitude is everything. Who will you thank today?

Gratitude IS everything. And, sometimes it’s just for the little things. This may sound silly, but I was thankful to Pat this morning for filling the bird feeder. I looked out my window and noticed so many birds happily going about their day in all the snow and cold. . . carrying on no matter the circumstances. I need to do that too.
Not silly at all, Liz. I’m sure those birds were very thankful for the food too. Thanks for commenting. It is especially the little things that we need to be thankful for.
