This week I am away on vacation, but wanted to announce that I am very proud to have these four images selected to hang in the new Glick Eye Institute in Indianapolis. It’s grand opening is August 19th.

When I heard they were looking for images to hang in the new building, I immediately thought of the eye of the sunflower image on the top right. Eventually, we settled on a seasonal theme, with all four images taken in Indianapolis in each of the seasons – spring, summer, fall, and winter.

My photographic style tends to be soft-focused, so some of the images I presented to them would not work. They said that for people with eye issues, the pictures exhibited should be as sharply focused as possible. Interesting how I never really thought of that.

Thankfully, we have places like the Glick Eye Institute and the doctors and nurses who work there to help people who struggle with eye issues.
